In his 10 years in real estate, Daniel arrived at Merit Border by way of Decatur, Georgia, just 10 minutes east of Downtown Atlanta. He spent his youth invested heavily in academics and sports, which later rewarded him a football scholarship to Georgia Tech, where he earned his Bachelors of Science in Business Management. Daniel attributes much of his success to the discipline and work ethic instilled in him as an athlete. While at Georgia Tech, he was introduced to real estate via an internship with The Integral Group. As a contracted Asset and Development Analyst on a variety of community investment projects, Daniel found his passion and purpose. Before devoting his work full time to Merit Border, Daniel became a Partner at Dudley Thomas Spade a very innovative specialized commercial real estate firm.
With an embedded love for his community and the desire to build upon the fabric of our city, Daniel founded Merit Border to assist in creating environments where people enjoy living out their purpose. Daniel brings with him a diverse set of skills across the real estate platform, from leasing, acquisitions, asset management, joint venture relations, and community development.
As one might elude, Atlanta has been more than home. Its been a culturally rich place to grow. After 31 years in Atlanta, he's a loyal hometown sports fan and enjoys the chance to attend any Georgia Tech, Braves, Hawks, or Falcons games.
